My name is Mabel Lewis and I am the Home Manager for Loxley Hall. I have a level 4 qualification and the Registered Manager Award and have been working at Loxley Hall for 3 years, although I have worked in the care industry for 36 years and have managed many homes over the years. I am also a trained trainer and I am able to provide training to staff to meet the required standards.
Loxley Hall is a 36 bedded nursing and residential home who also provide day care and respite facilities. The majority of our staff have worked at the home for many years and provide quality care to the people who live here, as well as continuity of care which is so important to the individual.
We are well known and respected in the area by both the professionals and people in the village who come to support us on a regular basis.
The home has a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes people feel at home, with relatives able to come and go as they wish. There is also an activities programme in place six days a week with many kinds varied activities that people can choose from.
The Cook visits people on a daily basis to discuss the menu and we provide a varied and nutritional diet that is personalised to meet the needs of the individual.
Loxley Hall is at the centre of local services. The shops, post office, local pubs, library, community centre, train station and bus stops are all close by. We are also in the enviable position of having the Doctor and Health Centre within a couple of minutes walk away.
