About Garswood House
Garswood House is a 53-bed care home, located close to the centre of Ashton, Wigan. Our team provides an excellent standard of 24/7 care, offering comprehensive residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care with a person-centered care plan specifically designed to meet residents’ care needs. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, and we encourage our residents to bring their belongings to add a personal touch to their living space.
The home offers various communal spaces including three spacious lounges where residents can watch TV, read, or socialise, an activities room, and an in-house salon. Garswood House has a beautiful outdoor space with three seated garden areas for residents to enjoy warmer days and relax under the sunshine. To spend a day out we are located close to the Three Sister Recreation area, Orrell Water Park, and various other parks within a few minutes’ drive.
